Outreach to Homebound Parishioners ~ Do you have a family member or neighbor in our Parish who is unable to get out due to illness, age or disability? Please help us locate these individuals and bring them into contact with our community.
Some of the ways we connect with our Homebound are:
- The Parish sends Birthday and holiday cards
- Volunteers visit during Advent and Easter Seasons
- Volunteers call them on a monthly basis
- We arrange a Eucharistic Minister of Communion if requested
If you are aware of someone who would benefit from these efforts, please contact the Outreach Office at (631) 265-2200 Extension 113
ARE YOUR HOMEBOUND???
Would you like to receive a call from a parishioner volunteer while you are homebound? Individuals may self refer or be referred by a caregiver or family member. This program is intended to serve seniors/parishioners who are homebound, living alone or otherwise need regular contact to eliminate social isolation. If you are interested in receiving a call, please call Outreach at 631-265-2200. All calls are confidential.
Please also see the flyer below regarding the RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) Telephone Reassurance Program.
PLEASE NOTE: The Outreach Friendly Calls Program and the RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program are two different programs.
Please feel free to participate in one or both of these programs.
Thank you.
